Cazabu Farms raises quality Quarter Horses and Nokotas. We are
CNY's Premier Nokota Facility. Handling from birth and extensive ground training make these horses exceptionally easy to handle and a pleasure to ride. We finished the 2007 show year with
Lena's Noble Prize ranked in the
top ten in the
Rookie Professional class, in the
top fifty in the
Limited Open and qualified for the
2007 NRHA and Adequan North American Affiliate Champioship Show in Oklahoma in November. She recently took first place in the OVRHA Limited Open Derby with a score of 146.
Play It Smartly helped Leigh Garber finish her first ever year showing horses with a
Reserve Champion in the CNYRHA Affiliate Prime Time Green Class. We will be showing our newest adddition to our reining team,
Olena Whiz Chic, in Spring 2008. The year 2007 saw two of our Nokotas, Miss Hap and Bucky find new homes and new careers in Pennsylvania. Amigo and White Smoke made their presence known in the local hunter-pace circuit finishing fifth in the Limestone Creek Hunt 10 mile hunter-pace in September. White Smoke has now moved on to show Dressage in Canada. This was our first year showing the Nokota horse. They made quite an impact where ever they were shown. We are currently sold out of finished Nokotas, but if you would like to be added to our waiting list please contact Leigh Garber. This is Dancer's Flame. A new Nokota and half-sister of Nahimana. Both Dancer and Nahimana were sired by Lakota Dancer .
Congratulations to QTS Major Money Maker and Cazabus Special Sauce for winning the High Point Champion and Reserve Champion at the Bridle Path Manor Horse Show at the Syracuse Fairgrounds June 14th and 15th.
QTS Major Money Maker was a NSBA Yearling Lounge Line Winner and is showing as an all-around horse for 2008.
Cazabu's Special Sauce was also a NSBA yearling lounge Line Winner and is showing as a Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure 3 yr. old in 2008
